Dear John,

I've been pretty sad for a long time. I wonder when it'll stop.

Dear John,
Do you feel that most complaints about adulthood are just due to people not wanting to work hard for their own pleasures?

I'm not downplaying the difficulty of life, but, I notice that the people who complain the most about adulthood often are those whom have it all.
They aren't deep in debt.
They have a decent partner, decent house, decent job and everything.
They may have problems but those are caused by their own whims and are within management.

Meanwhile, kids and teens whom are awkward and have no freedom nor outlets are told that theyre in the easy mode stage of life.
Despite not being allowed to date, not being appreciated as fellow human beings, not allowed to fend off bullies, not allowed to spice up their wardrobe due to overbearing parents etc.

Even though my adult life is a flop, I feel that's more due to my awkwardness carrying over from childhood

In fact, I can say that most post pubescent flops are often those whom were never trained or rescued from mediocrity in their youth.

Adults can make shit happen for themselves and yet they choose to throw it all away for some nostalgic deception of "childhood simplicity".

Any one who complains about "adulting" is usually of the "Millennial mentality"

Do not bring your generational arguments to this board. This is the wrong kind of uninteresting.

Wrong. It's not generational. And besides there's far more arguing about trannies and furries and whatnot. And yet there's no one telling those people to shut up

John, do you ever see turkeys or large birds in your feeder? I saw some turkeys today wandering around, and they were much larger than I remembered. I also saw some geese today, but they were shitting all over the place, so I don't care about them as much.
Thanks for reading my post. Have a great day.

They do crime, and crime pays them cash money which they trade for goods and services.

Jalapenos? John, you have made my mind expand. Why have I not thought of this? I love lox bagels, and spicy food. Habaneros would probably work perfectly with the dish as well, though they are a bit too sweet maybe. Adding pickled jalapenos and capers would balance out the sweetness. Now I don't know how I should stop. I want to try it with avacado and black garlic too. I should try vegemite, because I am convinced it would also be exactly what I would want on a lox bagel but I don't have any basis on why.

John, today I went to a bagel shop and bought a lox with jalapenos and it was great. However, they were actually out of bagels, so gave me ciabatta rolls instead. And it was great, I like it better than bagels.

"making" quinoa sounds weird to me. cooking quinoa makes more sense, since it's an ingredient, not a dish in itself. unless you're talking about growing quinoa, or making your own via some kind of particle generator, which i don't think you are.

Croutons, oh croutons, why hast thou forsaken me?
Not available on the local market until recently and sub-par to be kind. Have tried making my own (learned to do it in a bistro when I was 15), but takes too long with full-time employment, etc.

Anyways,
John

For now, I wanted you to know that I made a snakeberry banana smoothie (I stole the berries from company property, nobody cared).

The only photo I have is of the berries; about a double shot-glass full. They have no discernable flavor, but I hear they're high in Vitamin C. This, two bananas, yogurt; en frappe.

It was bananas.

Also, I promise I will get around to the full tutorial on my fried potato skins. TBH, I have refined my technique over a few years.

I usually put a protein shake in the blender with frozen fruit for breakfast during the week. I often don't feel like eating and this can last me until my mid morning break.

Hello John,

I highly recommend trying baby spinach as your roughage for salads. Not only do I think it tastes better, but it begins in a much more palatable size. Highly consider this in your next salad in replacement of lettuce or cabbage.

In the fruit, John

I've been eating what is essentially meatloaf for the past 2 years every night. Ground beef with some frozen veggies thrown in, with salt, chili powder, turmeric and coriander powder to taste. I bake it in the oven for 1hr 30 min.

I've only just started getting bored of it, so I threw in some shrimp, and it's delightful. Today I tried throwing some cheese on as well. Any other suggestions John?

>>
John Smith 25/04/26(Sat)05:47 No. 49148

Hi John. A ketchup brushing/glaze on top of the meatloaf during the last 20 - 30 minutes is a classic way to finish meatloaf. A few splashes of Worcestershire sauce and some diced onions and garlic might also add a bit more spice (heh) to your dish. Might I also recommend using a mixture of ground beef and ground pork instead of solely ground beef? I find the flavors work very well together and the pork helps keep it more moist, especially when reheated for leftovers. I hope you find my suggestions to be helpful. I wish you all the best.

Sincerely,

John Smith
