The last sticky had gotten so incredibly bloated moderating it was literally becoming a fire hazard. So, I have taken it upon myself to create a new sticky.
You retards never seem to get the hint but requests are specifically designed for this specific thread and no where else on the board. This is done to prevent shitting up the board and other discussion with millions of requests.

There's not a cooking board on here but this falls under the category of "health."
So here is my situation. I'm currently battling depression and living with ADD. I'm getting therapy and medication to help me through it. That's not the point as to why I'm here though. I'm aware that an unhealthy diet can be a substantial contributor to depression and a healthy diet can ease ADD symptoms. My goal is to only eat food that I make myself. I'm 24 years old and live by myself with very limited kitchen space. I'm working with my budget and slowly building up my cooking utilities. I am no stranger to Google and I'm going to continue searching for myself, but it doesn't hurt to ask for help.

I'm looking for a resource or guide that can help a 24 year old man eat and cook healthy. Starting out simple enough, I'm sticking to whole grains only, I always keep a dozen eggs in my refrigerator, I buy unsalted butter and don't use margarine or any other synthetic butter substitute, I'm sticking with lean red meat at the moment as I get comfortable with cooking more foods, and only 100% juice, whole milk (should probably switch to 2%), and water (occasionally Snapple) fill my fridge for drinks, and I seldom buy junk like Doritos as I prefer to snack on things like fruits and raw veggies. I feel like this is a decent start, but I do want a guide that can actually help me stay on track and also give me ideas on switching things up.

TL:DR I'm a young man trying to eat healthy and cook for myself. got any advice?

Anyone wake up extremely wiped and all your extremities hurt? I'm so tired but dreads sleeping because it's insanely painful. Then I wake up and run in to things and trip for hours upon hours. I've been going to the doctors for 20 years and they only give me anti-depressants.

I don't take them, and give up, don't go to them for another 2 or 3 years and they BELIEVE this the anti-depressants are helping because I took them and didn't come back. No, I hate doctors, they are so expensive and are worthless.

I am looking for an ideal diet, mainly one that reduces acne on my face and abdomen (especially on the abdomen), cleans my intestines so they stop smelling, and also a diet that reduces my impulsiveness and lowers my libido.

This is highly personalized, it varies from everyone. Try removing one item at a time & journal the results.

It took me 5 years to optimize my diet based on income, time, and quirks of my biology.

Generally you want to replace most fats with saturated fats, and add glycine rich meats and fermented foods.

Calcium interferes with protein absorption, so I eat calcium such foods with fatty foods and vitamin k2. That is one meal.

My other meal consists of protein and carbs.

I generally go for 1/3 each protein, fat, carbs split in terms of calories (not portions).

Otherwise do something like calisthenics 2x a week & cardio 5x a week.

Shoulders back and down all the way. Find that position. Do light weight focusing entirely on shoulder position. Progress slowly.

Make sure you're eating/sleeping/hydrating enough to have energy in the first place. Then you want to as yourself why. Why do you want to get fit? Find something that speaks to you. Because Like most things in life that are worth it, it's going to suck. Make systems and plans so it's less about emotion and more just raw execution. Lots of free resources online as well as AI to help you get started with what you currently have, you could even train at home starting out with zero equipment

Was having trouble doing my daily workout today. But suddenly when i finished it, i was completely ready to go again. I ran to a bookstore, read for hours.
I ran over 20 kilometers, but my legs are still itching to go. I dont know why, its by far my longest amount run in one day, but somehow I just feel distant. Like im no longer the same person. My muscles look like that of a bodybuilder overnight, and i feel less emotion.
