I've been eating what is essentially meatloaf for the past 2 years every night. Ground beef with some frozen veggies thrown in, with salt, chili powder, turmeric and coriander powder to taste. I bake it in the oven for 1hr 30 min.

I've only just started getting bored of it, so I threw in some shrimp, and it's delightful. Today I tried throwing some cheese on as well. Any other suggestions John?

Hi John. A ketchup brushing/glaze on top of the meatloaf during the last 20 - 30 minutes is a classic way to finish meatloaf. A few splashes of Worcestershire sauce and some diced onions and garlic might also add a bit more spice (heh) to your dish. Might I also recommend using a mixture of ground beef and ground pork instead of solely ground beef? I find the flavors work very well together and the pork helps keep it more moist, especially when reheated for leftovers. I hope you find my suggestions to be helpful. I wish you all the best.

Sincerely,

John Smith
