The main complaint about making a character being difficult is destroyed by him telling you to use the generator.

As for the game itself lots of tabletop RPGs actually need a human to explain how to play and D&D is notorious for being played the wrong way for a long time.

My problem with fatal is that there are no good examples what to do. Like if most of the people in the setting are slaves or serfs .... do we roll and get slave or serf.... What is the campaign then? Are we trying to escape our slave master? Serve him until we die?

Where is the adventure? Also WTF does the game mean by

I also have no idea how the setting functions or is to be played. The game presents itself as a low fantasy where combat is realistic meaning that if you start combat someone will die or get injured.

So how is it played? Will the party basically get decimated in every encounter??? Or can they pop the magic regrow limbs potion that every shop sells?
