we all know the switch 2 and it's let's be real fucking bs pricing both digital and physical games let alone some games having a key card in order to play some of I seriously have a hope of enough people putting their foot down and have it suffer to show nintendo
people ain't taking this but the other side of me thinking "it's nintendo,they'll definitely be people who still buy it and it's games" which pisses me off cause no way in hell should a console and it's games should cost

The $80-90 is only part of the problem of course.
The console itself is pretty overpriced. They're using the Samsung 8nm process which is 2020 manufacturing technology. So the battery life won't be anything to write home about and going off the synthetic benchmarks neither will the performance.

You're "other side" isright though. People will definitely buy this shit. It will have to be a lot more expensive than $450 a console for them to lose out on profits.

I think because the PC handhelds (Steam Deck withstanding) are more expensive they’re probably hedging bets that they can get in under that competition, which is really what’s going to hurt them if more capable options start getting released at a palatable price point.
