Sounds to me like you need to learn to deal with that psychologically rather than physically. I know what you're talking about, it's a bit like a panic attack, but the only way to really deal with panic is to accept that you're going to die. That's the only way I know of. I got this really pretty fucking bad on mushrooms. Like you cannot do anything, your heart rate is just high for no reason and you feel like yeah I guess pretty damn weird and uncomfortable and like you're dying. But it's really a psychological thing. I believe. Ofc it's easier said than done to just overcome the fear of dying, but idk. It's doable with intention I think.

Yeah, that's kind of how I feel about it too. I do suspect that some of it might just be my body aching or me noticing that more since I'm not in that good of a shape physically, but yeah I know I'm not gonna die, it just feels a bit like it. Not really good at relieving the physical symptoms, but better at knowing that I just gotta breathe it out, walk it out, sleep it out. Not over the fear of dying part obviously, but better at telling myself that this ain't the time.

I think your attitude is a little bit wrong. It's not about calming yourself down or saying that this will pass. Well, not in my experience. What it is about is diving at first into it. Letting it wash over you. Basically saying let's die right now. This is how you overcome it. Not by coping with or managing it. Yeah, on a smaller dose it may be easier to do that, but that doesn't solve the issue. Not really.

I mean, okay, there are some factors that contribute to it, but at the core of it this is the classic panic attack. And the only way people overcome panic attacks that I know of is when they decide to literally die right now. Yeah they don't end up dying just because they decided that, but end up never experiencing panic attacks again. And have an overall lighter demeanor towards life. Anyhow, I don't want to sound like I'm preaching here, I'm just trying to help but, hey I'm sharing my perspective. Take it or discard it.

Trying to get my shit together when it comes to healthy basics, trying to look more into what I eat/how much I eat, and most importantly, trying to get myself out and about to at least go on some walks or something. I've found small walks after lunch pretty energizing and been doing those daily now for a little bit. Feeling slightly positive about the future for a change, which is nice. BWH.

Decided to go on a little evening stroll with a joint, first plan was to have a quickish walk but ended up going on a longer one which was a great fucking idea. How beautiful this world can be. Great evening sky, great conditions, really calm and serene weather and a lot of really really quiet spots along the way, even in the city.
